Julia Kowalska

Political scientist and expert on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. Specialist in international law, with a particular focus on the law of armed conflict. Her research interests include the activities of non-state armed actors in the Middle East, such as Hamas, Hezbollah, and the Houthis. She is also a researcher of Muslim culture, art, and architecture.

She is a graduate of International Relations at the University of Warsaw and Civitas University. As a member of the Middle East Observatory at Civitas University, she prepared analyses on the political and security situation in the region, the findings of which she presented at the 3rd African Studies Congress in Toruń.
