Oliwier Gorgoń

Graduate in English Studies from SWPS University and a student of International Relations at Collegium Civitas. Founder and Head of the Student Nuclear Observatory at Collegium Civitas, as well as co-founder of the MACE Center organization. He combines academic and analytical work with defense commentary, including co-hosting the podcasts “Kwadrans do północy” (A Quarter to Midnight) and “Punkt Widzenia” (Point of View).

His research interests focus on nuclear non-proliferation and arms control, nuclear deterrence, maritime security, and the impact of emerging technologies on the nature of modern armed conflicts. He is the author of scholarly publications and analytical articles on topics such as Russian–North Korean military-technical cooperation and its impact on the non-proliferation regime in the Far East, as well as the nuclear arsenal expansion of atomic powers.

He presented his research findings at the 18th Asian Congress in Toruń. He also participates in leading national defense and security events, including the Defence24 Days and DUALTEC conferences. Currently, he is advancing his research on the expansion of nuclear forces among atomic powers and its impact on strategic stability, with a particular focus on East Asia and the Middle East.
